The EzyDog Checkmate Collar is a Martingale style correction collar that is ideal for training, provides excellent control and does not need to be resized for each fitting.

LIMITED SLIP COLLAR FOR DOG TRAINING

The Checkmate Collar enables control whilst preventing the choking effect of a slip collar and is therefore an excellent collar for training your dog.

WHAT IS A MARTINGALE COLLAR?

Extensively used in training, the Checkmate will help keep your dog's head from slipping out of the collar when walking or when your dog gets too excited.

This Martingale collar is made with two loops. The larger loop slips onto the dogs neck and a lead is then clipped to the smaller loop. When the dog tries to pull, the tension on the lead pulls the small loop taut. This makes the large loop smaller and tighter on the neck, thus helping to prevent escape.

When the collar is properly fitted, it will be comfortably loose without your dog noticing it much until the dog begins to pull.

The Checkmate is made from our soft and durable nylon for comfort around your dog's neck. The webbing is reflective for those late night training sessions.
